Back in August I photographed Ella’s cake smash to celebrate her turning one! She was another gorgeous baby I had photographed as a newborn and only a couple of weeks after the cake smash, I was invited back again to do a family session for them too! She is such a sweetheart and I loved this girly theme too!
With my cake smashes, I offer an all inclusive package that includes a mini portrait session at the beginning of them to mark their first birthday, then we introduce the cake and things get messy! And finally we finish with a splash in a tub of warm water and bubbles to help with the clean up but to also get some extra cute images too!
I always offer to hire a space to use for these sessions because of the mess sometimes involved but am also more than happy to come to you if you have the room- I do find most babies are more settled and confident at home and in their usual setting but the choice is always yours!
